Kids age 12-17, join us for this FREE event as we hike the South Mountain Reservation’s Hemlock Falls Loop, a two-mile, moderately difficult trail that passes the scenic Hemlock waterfall and river. Parents are welcome!

Pack up your FORGE bookbag with your lunch, water, bible, journal, your FORGE pen, bug spray and sunscreen. NO OPEN SHOES! PLEASE WEAR SNEAKERS AND LONG PANTS/TIGHTS. We need to be protected from mosquitoes and ticks. All participants should/will be sprayed with bug spray and sunscreen. Safety is first, then fun!

BIBLE STUDY: We will picnic together off trail to read and discuss Genesis 1. We will wonder at the beautiful creations of God as we hike, see a waterfall and explore. With the rush of our lives, busy schedules, school, work and family obligations, this hike is an attempt to slow down and appreciate the beauty of God’s creations as we read Genesis 1. God is amazing!
